Welcome to IFC Atlanta
We are excited to have you as part of the IFC Atlanta family!
At IFC, we believe soccer is more than just a sport — it is an opportunity to learn discipline, teamwork, respect, and leadership while building lifelong friendships.
Our mission is to create an environment where players can grow not only as athletes but also as well-rounded individuals who embody integrity, accountability, and character both on and off the field.
As members of IFC Atlanta, both players and parents play a vital role in shaping our community. To maintain the highest standards of sportsmanship, respect, and professionalism, all members are expected to follow the IFC Values and Code of Conduct outlined below.
IFC Values and Code of Conduct
-
Respect for the Game and Community
I will maintain the utmost respect for the game of soccer, my coaches, teammates, referees, match officials, and spectators. -
Integrity and Sportsmanship
I will conduct myself honorably at all times, both on and off the field. -
Commitment to Participation
I am committed to attending IFC practices, trainings, scrimmages, games, and community events consistently. -
Effort and Team Spirit
I will always give maximum effort and strive to be a positive, supportive teammate and student-athlete. -
Creating a Positive Environment
I will help foster a welcoming, safe, fair, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone involved in IFC activities. -
Pride and Representation
I understand that being a part of IFC Atlanta is a privilege, and my actions reflect on the club, my teammates, and our partners.
Team Selections and On-Field Decisions
IFC coaches have complete discretion over team selections and player rotations during games and tournaments.
This approach supports the long-term development of all players and ensures fairness in training and competition.
Parents are welcome to share feedback or discuss individual player performance through the appropriate channels.
Any questions or concerns should be directed to the IFC Atlanta Head Coach or Sporting Director.
Sideline and Post-Game Conduct
Parents are encouraged to cheer positively and support all players during games.
However:
-
Parents should not coach from the sidelines or engage referees and match officials during or after matches.
-
IFC coaches will handle all player management and referee communication as needed.
Our goal is to create a respectful, encouraging atmosphere where players can learn, compete, and grow under the guidance of their coaches.
